Being Beatitude Christians

Christians often say that we are defined by whether or not we believe in Jesus as God’s son.  We sometimes talk about what it might look like to live a Christian life.  Among the discussions, people will begin to lament the lack of posting the Ten Commandments in public places and public prayers in schools.  While the Ten Commandments surely are good guidelines for living, they are relatively easy to use as a “yardstick” of living for God.  If I don’t do these things, I must be okay.

Yet in the Sermon on the Mount in general, and the Beatitudes specifically, Jesus teaches us how to improve our lives as well as the world around us.  Join us in this study of the Beatitudes as we seek to better be able to sing, “Living for Jesus,” because we come to know the Beatitudes of Christian living.
