CHURCH
VOTE SEPTEMBER 8- As
the Pastor Search Committee continues its search for a full-time pastor, Dr.
Brett Patterson has agreed to continue serving as bi-vocational part-time
interim pastor for the next year while teaching religion and church history
classes at Clemson University. In addition, his wife Stephanie is willing to
serve our church as part-time bi-vocational Minister of Outreach and
Congregational Care for one year while completing her Doctor of Ministry
degree. The duties of this position will supplement what Dr. Patterson
currently does by focusing on a robust visitation program, spiritual formation
and development activities, and engaging with our community. The church will
vote to call Stephanie to a one-year term of service on Sunday, September 8.
YOUTH AND
CHILDREN’S CHOIR-Rehearsals
for our Christmas musical “Away in a Mango” will begin this Wednesday at 5:15.
Children and youth will meet in the choir room.
